Laura Carletti - Digital Strategy Collaborator
Laura Carletti is a Research Fellow at Horizon Digital Economy Research Institute at the University of Nottingham. She has a background in art and humanities, and a PhD in technology-enhanced-learning.
Her research falls into the interdisciplinary area of social computing and experience design. Her research interests are (but not only): engagement through new media and technologies; web-based learning; crowd-sourcing and social media for public participation; interactions between formal/professional and informal/amateur knowledge.
She has been working on several projects in the digital arts and humanities area, including Art Maps, Ghostsigns Online Archive, PEP/People-Events-Places, Gendering Latin American Independence (Horizon), and SiteWorks (University of Exeter).
She has collaborated with photographers Pablo and Roxana Allison on ‘Uncovering the Invisible - Voices’, the digital experience that complements the photographic exhibition with the personal stories of the people portrayed, told through their voices.
