Catherine Davies - Academic Coordinator
Catherine Davies is Professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Nottingham. Previously she taught at the Universities of Manchester and Queen Mary College, London. She studied for her first degree at the Universidad Complutense, Madrid, and her PhD was awarded by the University of Glasgow.
Her research interests are 19th and 20th Century Spanish and Latin American literature, culture and history. Her work has been funded by awards from the AHRC, Leverhulme Trust and the British Academy.
She has collaborated with photographers Pablo and Roxana Allison on outreach activities associated with the AHRC funded Genderlatam project (2001-2006) since 2011.
